Meet your instructor, Dr. Stacey Rosenfeld.

A licensed psychologist for nearly 20 years, Dr. Stacey is well-known for her clinical work, media appearances, and contributions to the field. She is intensively trained in DBT and has taught DBT skills to hundreds of people in the form of weekly therapy groups.

But over time, some problems arose with this approach. First, many wanted to participate in the groups but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts. Some people just didn't feel comfortable in a group therapy environment. They wanted more privacy, flexibility, and independence for their learning. And frequently, clients who participated in her groups had such a positive experience that they wanted to refer their friends and family to participate in the group with them, but her professional ethics prevented this.

And so, during the pandemic, Dr. Stacey began to create this content, hoping to develop a course that anyone around the world could access in the privacy of their own home and at a pace that worked for them. Fast-forward a few years, and we are now proud to present the DBT skills curriculum to you.
